No 10 Oceanview is a 4 bedroom holiday home located on elevated ground above Downings seaside resort in north Co Donegal.  The holiday home is situated in a quiet cul de sac development that enjoys commanding views over Sheephaven Bay towards Ards forest Park and Muckish Mountain. From the front door it is a short walk into the heart of Downings village and to its popular beach

The holiday home has a bright and spacious open plan ground floor. The living area is comfortably furnished and has an open fireplace. The kitchen area has a full range of modern cooking appliances. There are 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 comfortably. To the front of the holiday home is an enclosed private paved patio area with sea views. To the side and back of the house is an enlosed yard where children can play is safety.

Downings - A superb Beach and Golf Resort

Downings has a number of top class tourist amenties.  Its long sandy beach is very popular for watersports. The fabulous  Rosapenna Golf Resort is just 1km from the holiday home. It features 2 championship links courses – Sandy Hills and the Old Tom Morris course. Both these courses consistently rank in the top 25 links courses in Ireland. The superb 5km long Tramore Strand is less than 2km from the holiday home.  The Magherbeg Leisure Centre is just a few minutes walk away. The centre has a 20 metres indoor swimming pool. Downings and the surrounding area also has a number of excellent pubs including the Harbour Bar and the Singing pub. The Old Glen Bar in nearby Glen village is renowned for its bar food.

Local Activities and Amenities

• Take a trip on Atlantic Drive around the spectacular Rosguill Peninsula. The Lough Salt Drive is another scenic route in the locality.
• Use the Mulroy Bridge to explore the neighbouring Fanad Peninsula.
• Golf at Rosapenna Golf Club. Other superb courses in the general locality include Dunfanaghy and Portsalon
• Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches on your doorstep –  in addition to Downings and Tramore there are fine beaches at Tra na Rossan and Melmore
• Enjoy diving in the clear waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay
• Try the Magherabeg Leisure Centre in Downings  -  facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym
• Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs.
