No 8 Hannas View is a modern 4 bedroom holiday home located in a small development on the outskirts of Rathmullan village. This well appointed self catering accommodation is just 500 metres from the shore front and 1 km from the village centre and sandy beach.

The holiday home is ideal for families with young children. In addition to  having all the facilities of the village near at hand, the the quiet cul de sac development has plenty of green areas. The house itself has a good sized gardens with the rear lawn fenced in.

At the beachfront in Rathmullan there is a fine playground that caters for children up to 12 years of age. The beach itself is safe for bathing and has lifeguards on duty during summer months. The pier is a popular venue for fishing while the small pontoon attached to the pier is the base for Rathmullan Charters. Rathmullan Charters have two modern and fully licensed charter boats that are available for deep sea angling, sightseeing and bird watching on Lough Swilly and also whale and dolphin watching when conditions permit. Pony trekking is available at the Golden Sands Equestrian Centre.

Rathmullan Watersports and Sailing School

Rathmullan now boasts a Watersports and Sailing School. This well managed school offers sailing and kayaking classes for both adults and children. At the moment the schools fleet consists of 6 Laser Picos, 2 Laser Bahias, 6 sea kayaks, and a 5m Humber RIB that serves as the safety boat. From wetsuits to flotation devices, paddles to helmets, the school provides all the equipment needed to participate in any of the courses available

Dining Out

For dining out there is a good selection of venues in Rathmullan. The nearby Waters Edge Restaurant enjoys stunning views over Lough Swilly.  The Beachcomber Bar has an equally dramatic setting and serves good quality bar food. The popular Belles Kitchen Bistro is in the heart of the village and serves food throughout the day. The adjacent Salt and Batter Take Away has established a reputation as one of the best takeaways in the North West. At the far end of the village is Rathmullan House Hotel which has the award winning Weeping Elm Restaurant and also serves bar food in the Cellar Bar during the summer months

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.

 

€100 refundable damage deposit. This deposit issued in the event of loss, damage, breakages. This deposit will normally be returned in full within one week of departure provided the property is left as found and in a clean and tidy condition.
