An Clachan cottage, set in own landscaped grounds, is fully wheel-chair
accessible. It has an open dining room/sitting room with a stone
fireplace opening onto the fully fitted kitchen. There are two double bedrooms
downstairs with disabled bathroom facilities and ensuite bathroom, and
upstairs there are two double en suite bedrooms (one with a bath).
Local Attractions
The cottage accommodation is within walking distance of the sea-shore
of Donegal Bay on one side, and open moor land and forestry on the
other. There are quiet walking and cycling rotes through out the
vicinity.
Other well-known attractions include the renowned St John's Point
peninsula, the beautiful Fintra Blue Flag beach, Killybegs
fishing port, the Blue Stack Mountains, and to the west
(50Km)
the famous Slieve League cliffs and Glencolmcille Gealthact
(Irish speaking)
area. The historic Donegal Abbey is just a few kilometres away in
Donegal Town.

To the north is the picturesque village of Ardara, the Maghera Caves,
and Narin/Portnoo coastal villages.

14km west of Donegal Town, and 2 km east of the village of Dunkineely,
south County Donegal in the north west of Ireland. The cottage is easy
to access, being close to the N56 highway, the main route between
Donegal Town and the busy fishing port of Killybegs.
