Meenderryowen - Annagry

Located in the west of Donegal in the village of Annagry, this delightful detached property is on an elevated site with stunning views of Annagry lake and strand. The property has spacious rooms and the furnishings are of a high standard. The region has a natural unspoilt beauty with numerous beautiful beaches in the vicinity (Carrick Finn blue flag beach 3 miles away). Fishing, golf and horse riding are available in the area and boat trips can be taken to the many surrounding islands.

The Dunlewy Centre and the impressive Glenveagh National Park are close by. Shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance (1 mile) whilst still being in a tranquil rural setting. Donegal Airport at Carrickfinn is located 3 miles away.

Annagry

Annagry itself is in the Gaeltacht area of the Rosses in West Donegal and is the closet village to Donegal Airport in nearby Carrickfinn. The village has an Irish speaking college in the summer months where the Irish language can be learnt by young and old alike. West of the road between Annagry and Crolly is the district of Rannafast , one of the major centres in the country for summer courses in the Irish Language.

• Golf at nearby Cruit Island Golf Club or Gweedore Golf Club  – two challenging  and very scenic 9 hole courses.

• Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches in the locality - including the fabulous Carrickfinn Blue Flag Beach (3km) and Mullaghderg

• Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of 100 euro per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period (or by arrangement with owners)
