This house is situated in quite unique surroundings. The landward sides of the house of the house are enclosed by sheltering rock- faces giving the back garden complete privacy.
The remainder of the house has spectacular views beginning with the strand, to which you have direct access. There the children can fish for crabs from the small rock pools left by the retreating tide and adults can collect cockles and mussels for the evening meal.
Still further is the Atlantic with Carrick Finn (blue flag beach) and the small local airport Donegal International. The view from the front of the house is dominated by the majestic form of Mount Errigal. The barbecue and patio areas are situated to take maximum advantage of these wonders of nature. Access to the house is over our own private road.
Annagry village has three pubs and two restaurants. One of which is the renowned Killindarragh House “Danny Minnie´s”. Some of the regions most famous artists, such as Clannad, Enya and Altan began their careers playing in the traditional pubs which define the area. You can leave your car at home in the evening and stroll to the village. It's only a few minutes away.
Were you aware that Annargy is the poker playing capital of Donegal. So if you enjoy an evening of cards be sure to visit Sharkey's Bar and Caisleain Oir.
The airport is only a 10 minute drive away. AerArann.ie offer a variety of schedule services, including two daily 40 minute flights from Dublin. Car hire is also available on request.
