This luxury holiday home is located on the outskirts of the charming seaside village of Rathmullan. 100 meters from the front door of the cottage is the Kinnegar Strand - a beautiful sandy beach that never gets too crowded - an ideal playground for children. Kinnegar Strand in turn leads to Rathmullan's tree lined beach. Along this beach are two of Donegal's top hotels - Rathmullan House Hotel and Fort Royal Hotel. Both these hotels have excellent restaurants

The holiday home itself is designed to take full advantage of its wonderful location  - every room to the front of the house enjoys wonderful uninterrupted views of Kinnegar Strand, Lough Swilly and Inch Island. The large windows in the spacious living room offer a breathtaking panoramic view.

From the cottage a 20 minute walk along the shores of Lough Swilly brings you into the heart of Rathmullan village. Rathmullan is now one of the most popular destinations in Donegal for family holidays. In addition to a safe sandy beach the village has numerous fine restaurants and a selection of lively pubs. Horse riding can be enjoyed at the Golden Sands Equestrian Centre. There are also two modern charter boats based at the local marina - these are used for both sea angling and sightseeing on Lough Swilly

The central location of Rathmullan in North Donegal makes it an ideal base to tour this beautiful part of Ireland. During the summer months the Rathmullan to Buncrana car ferry brings the majestic Inishowen Peninsula with easy reach of the holiday home.

The spectacular landscapes of the Fanad and Rosguil Peninsulas, the unspoilt Donegal Highlands, the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the ancient and historic walled City of Derry are all with an hours drive of the cottage.

A 20 minute drive along the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road will bring you to Portsalon Golf Course which is now one of the finest links courses in Donegal. Portsalon is also the location of one of the best blue flag beaches in Ireland. A 30 minute drive towards Downings will bring you to Rosapenna which has two superb championship golf courses. This is also the starting point of the famous Atlantic Drive.
