A spacious Victorian terraced cottage situated on the bank of the River Lennon overlooking the Georgian town of Ramelton. Within easy reach are many beautiful beaches, walks and historic sites. Golf, riding, fishing and go-karting are all easily available. From the front of the house there are views of the River Lennon and the Georgian houses opposite.

The house is Victorian and has recently been renovated. Behind it there is a completely enclosed garden which has a wild area for children to play in. The caretaker lives in the same terrace.

Within 1.5min walk across the old bridge there is a row of shops (grocer, butcher launderette, hairdresser, and an excellent art gallery (Ross’s Fine Art). Strolling down the main street towards the Donegal Ancestry Centre there are more shops (including a vet, pharmacy, bank, design shop and 2 restaurants). On the same side, a minute away is the Bridge Bar, where music, excellent company and superb food is available. Beyond that is a walk up the River and into the woods.

Ramelton is centrally situated in North West Donegal which means that Bank Terrace is ideally located to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. There are numerous scenic drives within half an hours drive of the holiday home - including the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road and the breathtaking Atlantic Drive. Within the same distance there are several villages - Rathmullan, Portsalon, Kerrykeel, Carrigart, Downings -  each with very different character and all worth a visit.

The central location of the townhouse in North Donegal means that it is an ideal base from which to enjoy some of the major events that take place in this part of Ireland including the Donegal Rally and the Earrigal Arts Festival.

Rental Period:
The house will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and you are asked to vacate it by 10.30am on the day of departure. Keys will be available at a pre-arranged pick up point.

30% deposit on booking (fully returnable if 42 days’ notice is given)
100% if booked within 42 days of arrival date
Cancellation Policy:
If, for any reason you need to cancel your holiday the following charges apply:
22-42 days notice – 60%
8-21 days notice – 75%
Less than 8 days – 100%

Payment is by cheque or bank transfer.
