This luxury cottage is located in a very quiet and peaceful location yet is a short stroll to two sandy beaches, the village shops, pubs, vegetarian café, take-away and restaurants including the award-winning Rathmullan House Hotel.

The interior of Beachcomber Cottage, completed in 2006, is modern and tasteful with an emphasis on comfort and relaxation. It has a bright light-filled dining area capable of seating eight, a large comfortable lounge with open fireplace and well-furnished bedrooms.

Patio doors lead from the spacious lounge to the large enclosed rear garden with lovely views of the parkland surrounding Rathmullan House. This is truly a home from home.

Rathmullan has much to offer whether it is for a holiday packed with activities or just a completely relaxing time. The village has a pier extending into Lough Swilly and it is from here that you can catch the car ferry (June - September) to Buncrana and onwards to the rest of the Inishowen peninsula. There is a small marina attached to the pier and if you fancy a spot of sea fishing or sightseeing on the Lough there are 2 fully equipped and licensed boats available for hourly or daily hire. While in the village be sure to call and visit the Flight of the Earls Heritage Centre which tells the story of the last days of the great Irish Chieftains, O'Neill and O'Donnell.

The undiscovered Fanad peninsula has sandy beaches, plenty of fishing, golfing, surfing and hill walking available. It is the perfect place to get away from it all. There are many excellent restaurants in which to sample the fresh food available in this area. Letterkenny, County Donegal’s main shopping town, is twenty minutes by car and also has an eight-screen cinema, public swimming pool, urban park, and An Grianan Theatre.
