Beach Cove Cottage - Rathmullan

Recently remodelled, modern cottage in the seaside holiday village of Rathmullan. Situated in a small development,  the holiday home is located directly opposite the fabulous Kinnegar Strand. The emphasis throughout this luxurious holiday home is very much on space and comfort. Rathmullan village offers a good variety of restaurants and lively pubs. Golfing, fishing, horse riding, hill walking and water sports are all available locally. The countryside around the village is renowned for sandy beaches, mountain passes, scenic views and historical landmarks.

Local Activities

The village of Rathmullan itself is located on the shores of Lough Swilly and is surrounded by dramatic coastal and mountain scenery. It is now one of the most popular destinations in Donegal for family holidays. In addition to the wonderful sandy beach the village has a selection of lively pubs and fine restaurants - including the award winning Bonnan Bui Restaurant.

Horse riding can be enjoyed at the Golden Sands Equestrian Centre. There are also two modern charter boats based at the local marina - these are used for both sea angling and sightseeing on Lough Swilly. An excellent children's playground is now located at the harbour area of the village.

Surrounding Area

Donegal as a whole is renowned for its unspoilt beauty, fabulous blue flag beaches and rugged coastal and highland landscapes. Rathmullan itself has a central location in County Donegal and this makes it an ideal base to tour this beautiful part of Ireland.

There are a number of superb golf courses within easy reach of the cottage. Within half an hours drive you have the great links courses at Portsalon and Rosapenna and also the much improved course in Letterkenny. Using the car ferry at Rathmullan you can reach the renowned courses at Ballyliffin within 50 minutes

Letterkenny, County Donegal's main town, is only 30 minutes by car. This modern town has a 5 screen cinema, bowling, go-karting, a superb modern leisure centre, a beautiful urban park, An Grianan Theatre, the Regional Cultural Centre and a wide variety of shopping.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
