Black's Glen Barn - Ramelton

Newly converted 19th Century Barn located 1 mile from the charming heritage town of Ramelton on the main Milford Road on large woodland site. Accommodation consists of two en-suite bedrooms, large bright open plan kitchen/dining/living area with views onto adjacent woods and fully equipped utility room with shower room.

Built in the late 1800’s, this property has recently undergone a complete and tasteful conversion. Set in the grounds of an old Georgian period farmhouse, within a large wooded garden, it is close to all the local amenities. Black’s Glen Barn is the perfect location for a comfortable and tranquil holiday.

Ramelton is a picturesque town renowned for its Georgian architecture, 18th century warehouses along the quayside and a tree lined Mall along the river. It has three beautiful churches, (Church of Ireland, Presbyterian and Roman Catholic), and a lovingly restored Town Hall, the original building dating back to 1878. It is a popular base for many tourists wishing to explore the NorthWest and is especially popular with walking and cycling tours.  Ramelton is well known for its friendliness and hospitality.

Ramelton is centrally situated in North West Donegal which means that the Barn is ideally located to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. There are numerous scenic drives within half an hours drive of the holiday home - including the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road and the breathtaking Atlantic Drive. Within the same distance there are several villages - Rathmullan, Portsalon, Kerrykeel, Carrigart, Downings -  each with very different character and all worth a visit.
