Bridgend House is a very cosy 3 bedroom holiday home  with a wonderful location right in the heart of the historic Georgian village of Ramelton in North West Donegal.

Accommodation at Bridgend House is designed to provide a comfortable home from home experience. The house is centrally heated and comprises a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with an open fireplace. There are three bedrooms - a double, a single and a double + single.

The holiday home is located near the bridge that crosses the river Lennon in the village of Ramelton. Ramelton itself is one of Irelands heritage towns and still retains much of its original Georgian character. The village has lots to offer -   the recently restored Townhall is now a popular venue for concerts and plays. It also houses a weekly  country market for fresh vegetables, home baking and much more. Ramelton has many quaint pubs - the wonderful Bridge Bar is renowned for music while Conway's Pub enables the visitor to take a step back in time. Located along the beautiful quay is the building that houses The Ramelton Heritage Centre and Donegal Ancestry - the latter enabling you to trace your Donegal ancestors.

Ramelton is located on the banks of the river Lennon  - near where the river flows into Lough Swilly. Angling and canoeing are popular activities on the Lennon. In addition there are beautiful walks along the river bank.

Bridgend House is an ideal base to explore a number of Irelands most beautiful peninsulas – Fanad and Rosguill . The Fanad Peninsula has the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road and the superb blue flag beach at Portsalon. The Rosguill Peninsula is the location of the renowned Atlantic Drive and the magnificent Rosapenna Golf Links near Downings.

The holiday home is about a 20-minute drive away form Letterkenny – County Donegal's main town. This busy town has everything you would expect to find in a modern urban centre – cinemas, theatre, indoor play centres, swimming pool, town park, shopping centres and night clubs

The holiday home is a short drive away from both the Silver Tassie Hotel and the Milford Inn Hotel which makes it an attractive accommodation option for those attending weddings in these popular establishments.

Within an hours drive of the holiday home you will find the majestic Glenveagh National Park, the Dunlewy Lakeside Activity Centre, Ards Forest Park and the ancient walled City of Derry.
