Brinlack Cottage - Gweedore

Standing on an  elevated site overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with uninterrupted views of Gola, Inishsirrer and Inismeane Islands and views of Aran Island to the side coastal skyline. The house is on a large private and gated/fenced site with its own winding entrance and is located less than a mile from Teach Jacks Hotel and  convenient to local shops and stunning beaches. Bloody Foreland is approx. ½ mile in the other direction towards Falcarragh.

The House is impeccably decorated with an open plan kitchen/living/dining room equipped with dishwasher, cooker, American style fridge freezer c/w ice and filtered water dispenser. The living room fireplace has a wood burning stove and a leather suite.

Downstairs there is a bedroom ensuite plus second bedroom with a bathroom adjacent. There is also a small utility room with washer/dryer machine.

Upstairs via an open tread pine stairs there is a large bedroom with 2 double beds adjacent to a shower room. There is also an open gallery over the kitchen which can be used as a play area for the children and has a sofa bed for additional sleeping area.
The house can comfortably sleep 8-10 people

A €100 deposit cheque secures your booking, the balance being payable 6 weeks prior to arrival

Local Area and Attractions

The stunning landscape of Donegal is breathtaking. There are many attractions within a short distance including Mount Errigal, very popular with climbers and hikers, Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Dunlewey Centre. This centre has lots of different attractions -children's play area, farm yard, boat trips, craft shop, weaving house, audio visuals, etc. The Bunbeg Harbour Pier offers daily departures to Tory and Gola Island

The main living area of Brinlack Cottage features a wood burning stove and leather furniture. The views through the windows are simply superb - uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean and the west Donegal landscape.
The cottage has a wide screen tv which is equipped to receive satellite tv. There is also a video and dvd player.

To the front of Brinlack Cottage there is a sunroom/dining area which takes full advantage of the wonderful  panoramic vista encompassing Gola, Inishsirrer and Inismeane Islands and views of Aran Island to the side coastal skyline.   This is the perfect spot for enjoying a family meal or relaxing after a day spent touring the beautiful rugged landscape of west Donegal.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
