Within 2 km of the cottage there is 3 golf courses including the two superb championship golf links at Rosapenna -  the Old Tom Morris Course and the Sandy Hills Course.  Within half an hours drive of the village homes there are two more first-rate links courses – Portsalon and Dunfanaghy. For eating out in Carrigart, choose from "Caife na Sraide"....the North Star and The Bistro at the Carrigart Hotel.

For the diving enthusiast the cottage is also well located. It is situated close to the Mevagh Dive Centre in Carrigart  which is Donegal's first purpose built dive centre.

The wonderful Tra-Na-Rossan Bay is located 3 miles from Carrigart.  The rugged coastline of the Rosguil Peninsula  will offer a variety of beaches to choose and you have the choice of fresh water fishing in the Lackagh river  or deep sea fishing in Sheephaven bay. The village homes are also well situated for hill walking and horse riding at the local Carrigart Stables.

The Atlantic Drive and Lough Salt Drive are two superb scenic dives in the immediate locality. The Lough Salt drive will bring you through the village of Glen where the renowned Glen Bar is situated. This cosy pub is full of atmosphere and serves excellent food.

The majestic Glenveagh National Park, the family orientated Dunlewy Lakeside Centre and the beautiful Ards Forest Park are all within an hours drive of the village homes.
