Clondallon House has a marvellous location overlooking Mulroy Bay
on the outskirts of Kerrykeel village. There is a large lawn to the
front and also plenty of space to the rear - ideal for kids to play in.
All the amenities of the village, shops, pubs, restaurants etc are
within easy walking distance.
With its five bedrooms, the house is
particularly suited to the larger group or extended family who wish to
share a holiday in this beautiful part of north Donegal. All bedrooms
have a tv aerial point and guests can bring along their own portable for
the kids to enjoy - the house also has a large tv in the main sitting
room. The master bedroom is ensuite and being located to the front of
the house has lovely sea views.
A 5 minute walk takes you to the centre of
Kerrykeel village where you'll find a selection of small shops, a
restaurant and take away and some lively local pubs. A short 10 minute
drive along the coast of Mulroy Bay brings you to the village of Milford
which is the administrative and educational centre of the region. Attractions
in the area include:
- Golf clubs at Portsalon and Rosapenna.
- Ballymakstocker Beach - one of the finest in Ireland
- Fanad Head coastal drive - with breathtaking views
- Car ferry to Inishowen from Rathmullan
- Ballydaheen Gardens Portsalon - A six acre private garden opened to the public with access to the Seven Arches - a set of interconnecting caves formed by erosion of waves on limestone rocks.
- Glenveagh National Park - 14,000 acres of mountains, bogs lakes, glens and woodlands with a herd of red deer. A Scottish style castle is surrounded by luxuriant gardens. Visitors centre has displays, audio-visual show and restaurant.
