Cosy Nook - Ballymichael, Fanad

A small 3 bedroom cottage in Ballymichael, Cosy Nook is a traditional style stone cottage, with its own character. Comfortable carpeting in lounge adds to the homely atmosphere. It features a lawn in front and sunny, sheltered, secluded back garden with patio. A special feature is the spacious Play-Shed.  Suitable for off-season holidays.

It is located on the route of the Wild Atlantic Way, surrounded by the spectacular coastlines of the Mulroy and Swilly; panoramic views stretch from Horn Head to the Inishowen Peninsula. The Fanad Peninsula

Numerous beaches, shores and lakes in the area offer the chance of surfing, boat trips, windsurfing, sea angling, rock and lake fishing, and hill walking. If you prefer less strenuous activities there are ample opportunities for sightseeing: scenic drives around the spectacular coastline of Fanad and beyond.

If you like a round of golf and some fine dining, Fanad offers that as well. Panoramic views and unspoilt countryside are a real source of inspiration for the artist.

One of Ireland’s spectacular and most photographed lighthouses at Fanad Head is less than 2.5km away - a jewel of the Wild Atlantic Way. A guided Tour to the top of the Lighthouse is an unforgettable experience – a lasting memory of your stay in Cosy Nook.

Flat screen TV with Saorview (freeview) channels, DVD player and cd/radio. Library of books and films/music CDs for adults: books /activities /board games /cartoons for children

Galley style kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave, sandwich maker, toaster and washing machine.

  Bedrooms

Cosy Nook has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 4 - 5 people.  Bookings not taken for 6 adults.  Accommodation make-up is as follows:-

• Bedroom1: Double bedroom
• Bedroom2: Double bedroom
• Bedroom3: Two single bunk beds

Electric Blankets on all beds.  Bathroom with electric shower over bath.

  Dining Area

Oak dining table and chairs in the living area. Drop leaf table folds away neatly.

  Spacious Play Shed

Carpeted area- with blackboard & chalk, dolls house, painted goalposts on walls, Various toys and games, etc

Tariff

Booking Details

Booking deposit  of €100/ £100 to secure booking.  Balance to be paid six weeks before arrival date

• Check in from 4 pm, check out by 10.30 am at the latest.
• Saturday to Saturday ONLY  in July/August.
• Please ask for weekend/short break prices.
