Inishfree and The Garden House, Bundoran

Inishfree and The Garden House are two adjoining detached holiday cottages. These unique holiday properties have a private gated enclosure.  Both properties sleep 6 and can be rented individually or as combined unit to sleep up to 12. As a combined unit they are ideal for a large or extended family or for groups of golfers or fishermen.

The coastal town of Bundoran is situated in south Donegal and is one of Ireland’s most popular seaside resorts. Bundoran literally has something for everyone -  lovely beaches, surf schools, adventure  and equestrian centres, indoor aqua park (Waterworld),  cliff and coastal walks, public playgrounds, an 18 hole golf course, regular entertainment in the local hotels and a great selection of pubs and restaurants.

An Ideal Touring Base

Bundoran is also within easy driving distance of some of Ireland’s most beautiful scenery. To the south west is the iconic Benbulben Mountain which dominates the landscaped of Yeats country.  Sligo Town, Rosses Point and Strandhill are just half an hour away, while much closer to the holiday homes is the beautiful coastal resort of Mullaghmore. To the west of Bundoran are the stunning Fermanagh Lakelands. To the north is the beautiful scenery of south Donegal and the popular holiday towns of Ballyshannon, Rossnowlagh and Donegal town.

  • Golf at Bundoran Golf Club – a classic 18 hole links course. The Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh and The Co Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point are within a half hours drive
  • Try the leisure facilities at Bundoran Waterworld or relax in the Aqua Mara Seawater Baths & Treatment Centre
  • Enjoy the beautiful beaches in the region -  Bundoran, Rossnowlagh, Murvagh and Mullaghmore
  • Go horse riding from the Donegal Equestrian Centre
  • Enjoy surfing at Bundoran or at nearby Rossnowlagh. There are 3 ISA approved surf schools in Bundoran
  • Go bowling at the Bundoran Glowbowl
  • Walk along some of the scenic coastal walks in the area - The Cliff Walks and Rougey Walk
  • Find entertainment to suit your taste -  Bundoran has many hotels, pubs, restaurants and clubs  with a variety of entertainment on offer, including live traditional Irish and contemporary music, performed by local and well known national names
  • Go fishing or sightseeing on Donegal Bay on the Bundoran Star charter boat
  • Try game angling on the nearby Lough Melvin or on the nearby River Drowes - the river that traditionally produces the first caught Salmon in Ireland on New Years day each year.

It is approximately 5-7minutes walk to Bundoran centre and the beautiful cliff walk is just 2 minutes away.
