This property is brand new, yet boasts the character of yester-year and is just recently completed.  It has a high level of privacy and  is located 1/2 mile from the village of Glen, 4 miles from the village of Carrigart and 5 miles from Downings.

This is the ideal base for your family holiday in Donegal with a whole range of top activities on your doorstep. The nearby villages of Carrigart  and Downings are popular seaside resorts with lively pubs and good restaurants. Both villages are situated on the beautiful Rosguill Peninsula.  The natural landscape of this peninsula  provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to an abundance of golden sandy beaches there are many water based activities in the Glen/Carrigart/Downings area - including windsurfing, deep sea diving, fly fishing, sea angling and boat charters. There is also horse riding and hill walking. The Magherabeg Leisure Centre is located in Downings and features a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and gym

Within 5 miles of the holiday cottage  there are two superb championship golf links at Rosapenna -  the Old Tom Morris Course and the recently opened Sandy Hills Course.  Within half an hours drive of the cottage there are two more challenging links courses – Portsalon and Dunfanaghy.
