A luxurious 4 bedroom holiday cottage tastefully furnished and containing some lovely contemporary art. There are 4 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 8 people in both style and comfort. It is ideal for entertaining or a quiet family holiday. The house is located on the edge of the charming village of Culdaff. It is within walking distance of the village and the renowned McGrory’s Bar and Restaurant and a beautiful blue flag beach. Culdaff village is an ideal base for touring Inishowen, Donegal and the spectacular Causeway coast.

Local Activities

Beach
The breathtaking Blue flag beach was listed No.8 in Europe’s top 50 beaches (The Independent U.K.) and has a neighbouring children’s play park which has been newly refurbished and now has excellent equipment. The beach is very popular for surfing, bathing and water-sports as the waters are both safe and clean with lifeguard supervision in the summer months. Surf lessons are also available on the beach in certain months of the year.

Angling
For the keen angler Culdaff bay provides good boat fishing and shore angling. Inishowen boating provides daily angling trips from Bunagee pier, trips can be chartered on a daily or weekly basis. Culdaff river is noted for its salmon and trout fishing.

Golf
A 15 minute drive takes you to the 2 Championship Golf courses at Ballyliffen (The Old course and the Glashedy). A beautiful nine hole course can be found at the Redcastle hotel and there is also a pitch and putt course at Moville.

Other Attractions

Day trips are possible to Doagh Island Famine village (which also transforms itself into Santa’s magical Lapland at Christmas) ,Fort Dunree Military museum and the wildlife discovery room , Inishowen Maritime Museum, Glenveigh National Park, Dunlewey Centre, the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and the historic walled city of Derry are a short distance by car.
The Foyle ferry between Greencastle and Magilligan is easily accessible.
Horse riding lessons and beach treks are available in Malin town and there is a tennis court available for booking.

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.

  • rental Sat – Sat except by special arrangement


Other Policies
A breakage/damage deposit of 130 euros, payable on final balance is required. This will be refunded a week after checkout less the costs of any breakages, extraordinary cleaning charges, or damages caused to the property during your stay.


In the event that you cancel your booking the following charges will apply:

  • More than 6 weeks loss of deposit
  • Less than 6 weeks 100% of rental cost
