Dunnes Cottage is a superb modern holiday cottage located just outside the village of Kilmacrennan  in North West Donegal. This recently built holiday accommodation is finished to a very high standard with a strong emphasis on space and natural light in each area of the house.

The cottage is located in a quiet rural setting and is surrounded by mature woodland.  Situated on an elevated site the cottage overlooks the beautiful River Lennon – with the majestic Donegal Highlands in the background.
The cottage can accommodate  8 people in both style and comfort. There are two  luxury double bedrooms with excellent ensuite facilities. In addition there are two spacious twin bedrooms. The holiday cottage has been awarded a 4 star classification with a Validated Access Scheme certification of Category 3 for disabled access from the Irish Tourist Board

The cottage is centrally located in North Donegal. County Donegal as a whole is renowned for its unspoilt  natural beauty with superb blue flag beaches, spectacular coastline and majestic highlands. Glenveagh National Park and Castle, Glebe Gallery, Gartan Outdoor Pursuit Center, Doe Castle and Rosapenna 18 hole championship links golf courses are all within an 8 mile radius of the cottage. The cottage is also an ideal base for those who enjoy hill walking and river fishing.

A 15 minute drive from the cottage brings you into Letterkenny. Described as one of Ireland's fastest growing towns Letterkenny is packed with facilities for all age groups. The town itself is the main shopping town in Donegal with a lively night life and has a wide range of pubs restaurants and shops to choose from. It also has a fine theatre - An Grianan and a modern cinema complex. Other attractions in the immediate Letterkenny area include an 18 hole Golf course, horse riding, pitch and putt, indoor activity centres for children and a superb new leisure centre with swimming pool.

Glenveigh National Park: About twenty minutes drive away from the holiday home this magnificent national park is home to herds of red deer and golden eagles
Gartan Outdoor Pursuits Centre: Situated on the shores of Loch Gartan this is a very popular destination for adventure holiday enthusiasts.
Ards Forest Park:  One of the most beautiful and most varied of Ireland's forest parks. Bays, rivers, loughs, beaches, valleys, viewing points, deer enclosures and historic monuments are woven together by a series of fascinating nature trails
Newmills Corn and Flax Mills: Situated on the Glenties Road out of Letterkenny the mills contain the largest working waterwheels in Ireland.
Glebe House and Gallery: This is a Regency house built in 1828 set in woodland and decorated with William Morris textiles, Islamic and Japanese art. The renowned Derek Hill Art Collection is housed here
Letterkenny Leisure Centre: This excellently equipped leisure centre includes a fitness room, steam room, whirlpool, sauna, plunge pool, kids pool and swimming pool.
