Fairway Cottage is both a golfer’s and a beach lover’s dream. Located on the spectacular Rosapenna golf courses, it is a cosy but spacious and well equipped architect-designed holiday home. It will appeal equally to golfers and to those who enjoy beach walks, mountain scenery and the rugged grandeur that Ireland’s north west region has to offer.

You’ll find the cottage at Rosapenna on the Rosguill peninsula in North Donegal, between the picturesque village of Carrigart and the fishing village of Downings. Carrigart is the home of a horse-riding facility while Downings is the base for wonderful golf and also an extensive range of watersports and deep sea fishing activities.
Both villages, a few minutes drive from Fairway Cottage, have a good selection of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs with plenty of music and entertainment. As a touring base, Rosapenna is an ideal starting point for several excursions, including the scenic Atlantic Drive, Tory Island, Glenveigh National Park, Ards Forest Park, and the Fanad Peninsula. Letterkenny is a 35 minute drive while Donegal and Derry Airports are just over an hour away.

Fairway Cottage itself lies close to the first green and second tee of the famous Old Tom Morris golf course at Rosapenna, and just a very short stroll from the first tee of the new new and spectacular championship Sandy Hills course. It is also less than five minutes walk from the fabulous Tra Mor beach.

And at the end of an active day, if you’re the kind of person who likes to curl up in front of a turf or log fire with a good book or DVD, then look no further. And on those evenings when you might prefer the relaxation to include a quiet pint and perhaps some good company, the Harbour Bar is close by, waiting to be discovered.
