Nestled along the scenic northwest coast overlooking Gweebarra Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this lovely cottage is located near Crohy Head in the rural village of Falmore.

Here you will find an ideal retreat for writers, readers, photographers, hikers and anyone seeking a special place to relax. Swim at secluded sandy beaches, golf on beautiful Cruit Island, or fish for salt and fresh water catch in the center of the renowned Rosses region. 

This elegant and comfortable home offers spectacular views from every room. You will enjoy a fully furnished architect designed home which combines all modern amenities with traditional Donegal warmth. Features include charming oversized window seat in main room, wood floors and ceiling beams, dramatic two-story stone fireplace, with natural tile, slate and stucco elements throughout. 

The house comfortably sleeps 5 in an en suite master bedroom with queen bed, a guest room with twin beds and separate full bathroom, and an upstairs loft study/bedroom. All linens are included. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. In addition to central heat you can enjoy a turf/coal burning stove in the main room. The south facing stone patio outdoors overlooks the ocean. A stone garden shed with thatched roof is a few steps away from the main house.

Air connections are excellent from nearby Carrickfin airport that features daily flights to and from Dublin. Car hire is available at the airport. 

No smoking or pets are allowed.

Rates are discounted for stays of 2 or more weeks.
