Finver View - Carrigart

Finver View House Carrigart: A luxury 4 bedroom holiday home located on the outskirts of the seaside village of Carrigart in North Donegal. This 4 star rated cottage includes  3 spacious ensuite bedrooms and a large beautifully furnished sun room. It is an ideal place to stay and enjoy the wonderful unspoilt countryside and coastline of North Donegal.

The cottage is well furnished and well equipped - fully justifying its 4 star rating. It offers the convenience of modern living, close to the charm of Carrigart village. The living room is decorated to a contemporary design, complete with hard wood floor, solid fuel stove with Satellite TV & DVD. 

The bedroom accommodation is luxurious. There are 3 spacious ensuite bedrooms - two doubles and one twin. The two ensuite bedrooms on the first floor enjoy wonderful views of the the North Donegal coastline. The accommodation is completed by another double bedroom on the ground floor.

Finver View cottage is ideally located to tour the superb scenery of North Donegal. A short distance from the holiday home is the renowned Atlantic Drive. This is a scenic drive starting in Downings and continuing around the breathtaking Rosguil Peninsula. 

Rosguil Peninsula

The natural terrain of the Rosguil Peninsula and the waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay provide the basis for many of the  activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to deep sea diving  there are many water based activities in the Carrigart/Downings area - including windsurfing, swimming, sea angling and boat charters. Horse riding and hill walking are popular local activities. There is also an abundance of golden sandy beaches.

Golf Holidays

For the golf enthusiast the cottage provides an ideal base to play some of the great links courses of North Donegal.  A  5 minutes drive away are the two splendid championship golf links at Rosapenna -  the Old Tom Morris Course and the recently developed Sandy Hills Course. Within half an hours drive of the cottage there are two more excellent links courses – Portsalon and Dunfanaghy.

The spacious living area features a solid fuel stove (fuel available locally), hard wood floor, tv and dvd. Large windows not only flood the entire area with natural sunlight but also make the most of the wonderful view. You have ample comfortable seating to enjoy the sunset in front of the cosy wood burning stove.

  Sunroom

The clickable photograph shows the very spacious and tastefully furnished conservatory / sun room  of the holiday home.  The room is effectively a separate living room. Double doors lead from the conservatory out to a patio area and a large fenced in garden.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
