Glassmullagh House - Donegal Town

Glassmullagh House is  a superb modern holiday home set in gentle rolling countryside in the Laghy area of South Donegal. Situated near the grounds of the award winning Coxtown Manor Hotel, this luxurious holiday home is close to a number of major amenities - including historic Donegal Town (5km), the internationally renowned Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh(4km) and the superb surfing and beach resort at Rossnowlagh (10km)

This newly built holiday home is set in its own private lawn and landscaped grounds. The open-plan ground floor incorporates a superior crafted kitchen,  a large dining area and a wonderful conservatory style living area. The holiday home can accommodate up to 10 people in 4 bright, spacious and comfortable bedrooms.

South West Donegal

For the golfer the holiday home is centrally situated for playing the great links courses of south Donegal including the Donegal Golf Club at nearby Murvagh and at Bundoran . Those who simply want to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of Ireland will be spoilt for choice - from the windswept St. John’s peninsula to the spectacular sea cliffs at Slieve League and from the majestic Blue Stack Mountains to the beautiful beaches at Murvagh, Rossnowlagh and Bundoran. Lovers of good food will not be disappointed either - there are a number of excellent restaurants throughout the locality including the award winning Coxtown Manor which is located just behind the holiday home. Within a half hours drive you also have the wonderful ‘Yeats Country’ in Sligo and the majestic Fermanagh Lakelands.
For those attending weddings in the Donegal Town area , the holiday home is a very relaxing base.

• Donegal Town  (5km) is  of great historical interest and has numerous tourist attractions. Donegal Castle stands beside The Diamond, overlooking the River Eske. Guided historical tours of Donegal Town take place on a daily basis during the summer and the Waterbus takes you around Donegal Bay. The ruins of Donegal Abbey, situated on the bay, are open to the public.
• Golf - superb 18 hole links championship courses are located at nearby Murvagh and at Bundoran (22km)
• Surfing Nearby Rossnowlagh has some of the best surfing in the world and the European Championships have been held here a number of times
• Walking Many well-signed walks can be enjoyed in the nearby Blue Stack Mountains . 
• Crafts- visit the wonderful Craft Village in Donegal Town
• Horse-Riding There are several horse-riding and trekking establishments in the area where you can enjoy an afternoon on horseback, riding through some of Ireland's most beautiful scenery.
• Cycling South Donegal abounds with small, winding roads which offer spectacular views around every corner and are ideal for cycling.
• Angling - anglers can Glassmullagh House game, coarse and sea angling with sea angling boats available for local chartering. (The first salmon of the season is frequently caught in the River Drowse)
• Waterworld in Bundoran - one of Ireland's leading Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground is located on the seafront in Bundoran

The open plan ground floor features a bright and very spacious kitchen area. The beautifully crafted kitchen comes equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and an American style fridge/freezer with ice maker and water dispenser. A replica of an old style kitchen range provides a focal point. With plenty of room for a leather furniture suite , the kitchen area can be used as a second living/sitting area.

Positioned conveniently next to the kitchen is the dining area which overlooks the front garden of the holiday home. The area features an elegant dining table and 6 comfortable dining chairs

  Conservatory Style Living Room

The conservatory style living area in the holiday home is bright and airy. It features a luxury furniture suite, solid fuel stove and tv with dvd player. The beautifully furnished  room is an ideal place to sit back, relax and enjoy the unspoilt countryside outside. French doors lead out to the patio area and landscaped gardens.

  Bedrooms

This newly built holiday home features top class accommodation for up to 8 people. All the rooms are bright, spacious and very comfortable, On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms including the master bedroom. The master bedroom has excellent ensuite facilities. On the first floor there are two more bedrooms - a double and a bedroom with  two  double beds. Adjacent to theses rooms is the bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
