Glenn Na Ceo Cottage - Carrigart

Gleann na Ceo holiday cottage is a modern, luxurious holiday home, finished to a high spec., which is situated on a raised site, 6 mins from Downings, 1.5 miles from Carrigart village, and close to Downings Bay and Dunfanaghy Town.

The quality of the views must be seen to be appreciated, with unrivalled panoramic views of Sheephaven Bay, Downings, Muckish and Errigal Mountains and Rosapenna Golf course. These views can be accessed from the conservatory, the living room, the viewing gallery and from the first floor and ground floor bedrooms.

Gleann na Ceo holiday cottage provides an ideal setting to get away from it all and relax in natural secluded surroundings, but within close proximity to a host of holiday activities and facilities that the north Donegal area provides.

The accommodation can sleep 7 to 8 people, with the viewing gallery also doubling up as extra sleeping accommodation with futons. The house is purpose built to make most use of the surrounding views. The house is furnished to a high spec. and provides a high level of comfort in a homely setting with open fire in the living room and a convenient and spacious conservatory. The house also provides for when you need your own space, and you can relax in the airy viewing gallery situated on the first floor.

The cottage is close to many amenities including the award winning Glen Pub and restaurant, Downings Bay Hotel, Carrigart Hotel and Tramore Inn, which are all no more than 10 mins. drive.

Outside amenities also close by include golf courses of Rosapenna(10mins), Dunfanaghy(20mins), Port Salon(30mins). There are also hosts of beautiful walks including Tramore beach, Ards Forest Park ,the Cappucian Monastery and Tra Na Rossa Strand, to name but a few. The famous Atlantic drive is 10 mins. away, as is Lough Salt Drive.
There is Magharabeg Leisure Centre in Downings, with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and gym.

There is also a variety of water sports, including deep sea diving, windsurfing and fishing at Mervagh Diving Centre.

The fully fitted kitchen is off the main living room;  with gas hob, and electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave , tumble dryer, toaster, cutlery, table-ware, saucepans, slow cooker and coffeemaker.

The living room is situated at the front of house with sea views. Solid floors with open fireplace, two double sofas and rocking chair. Overlooked by first floor gallery and is tastefully furnished. Opens to Sun room with panoramic sea views.

Oil fired central heating is included.

Three bedrooms with capacity to sleep eight.

Bedroom 1: Double Bedroom on first floor with king size bed, sea views, en-suite bathroom with electric shower.
Bedroom 2: Double bedroom on ground floor with double bed .Solid wood floor, superb sea views.
Bedroom 3: Double bedroom on ground floor with double bed,  solid wood floor, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Viewing Gallery: On first floor with double sofa bed, sea views, (Doubles as 4th bedroom with futon also available.)

Bed linen is supplied.

Viewing Gallery: Separate sitting area with full length sofas and sea views on first floor. Double sofa bed can be used as 4th bedroom with futon also available.

Conservatory: Full view of Sheephaven Bay, Errigal and Muckish mountains, Downings and Ards peninsula. World class view, Two Sofas, Table, six chairs, solid floors.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
