Glenieraragh Cottage is a superb modern holiday cottage located just outside the charming village of Glen in North West Donegal. The cottage is situated on an elevated site overlooking Glen Lough. The traditional style exterior of the cottage opens into a  modern interior full of charm and character.

The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people in both style and comfort. There is a luxury master bedroom with excellent ensuite facilities and fabulous views of Gen Lough and the surrounding countryside. On the ground floor there is a spacious double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. On the first floor there is 2 twin bedrooms sharing ensuite facilities

The large open plan ground floor of the cottage combines the ease of modern living with the charm of a bygone era. The entire open plan area has wooden floors and ceilings. The centrepiece of the stylish modern kitchen area is a Stanley Range. The living area has a large solid fuel stove as a focal point and also features a luxury leather suite.

Glenieraragh  cottage is  ideally located to tour the superb scenery of north Donegal. A short distance from the holiday home is the renowned Atlantic Drive. This is a scenic drive starting in Downings and continuing around the breathtaking Rosguil Peninsula. Even closer to the cottage is the spectacular Lough Salt Drive.

The natural terrain of the Rosguil Peninsula and the waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay provide the basis for many of the  activities that the visitor can enjoy. - including deep sea diving, windsurfing, swimming, sea angling and boat charters. Horse riding and hill walking are popular local activities. There is also an abundance of golden sandy beaches. Salmon and sea-trout fishing are available on Glen Lough and the nearby Lackagh River  - permits are available locally.

In the village of Glen itself you will find the renowned Mary's Pub and Restaurant. This is a traditional pub/restaurant that serves excellent food.

For the golf enthusiast  there are four 18 hole courses in the vicinity -  one in Carigart, two at Rosapenna and one in Dunfanaghy. Other local attractions include Glenveigh National Park, Dunlewey Lakeside Centre, Ards Forest Park and Doe castle.
