This luxurious individually designed property on the edge of Glen Lough is the perfect retreat for a peaceful and tranquill holiday. It enjoys magnificent views of Glen Lough and the Lough Salt mountains. The countryside around the cottage is ideal for both walking and cycling. Salmon and Sea-Trout fishing are available on Glen Lough itself and on the nearby Lackagh River - permits are required and are available locally. Sea angling is available at the nearby village of  Downings - depending on the season and weather conditions.

There are 4 golf courses within a 5-mile radius. Rossapenna has two superb 18 hole championship links courses - including the brand new Sandy Hills course. It also has a driving range and pitch & putt. The St Patrick links at Magheramagorgan is the nearest to the cottage and consists of two 18 hole links courses which are still being developed.
Horse riding is available at Carrigart & Dunfanaghy. Beautiful sandy beaches are only 10 minutes drive away at Downings and Tramore strand. Also nearby are Marble Hill and Dunfanaghy beaches.

Other local attractions include Glenveigh National Park, Dunlewey Centre, Ards Forest Park and Doe castle.
Glen village itself contains a renowned traditional Irish bar, which people flock to from far and wide, and has recently opened an excellent restaurant.

With Glen Lough cottage as your base you can make day trips to such varied places as Tory Island and the ancient walled city of Derry
