Golfview Cottage - Dunfanaghy

Located on an elevated site along the coastal road between Dunfanaghy and Portnablagh this wonderful modern holiday home enjoys superb views over Dunfanaghy Golf Links towards Sheephaven Bay and Portnablagh Harbour. A leisurely stroll will bring the visitor down to the beautiful blue flag beach at Killahoey which runs along the length of the golf course and into the heart of Dunfanaghy village. Dunfanaghy itself is a vibrant seaside village with fine restaurants, friendly traditional pubs, craft shops and art galleries

The holiday home has 3 ensuite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 people. The large kitchen and dining room and the the living room enjoy wonderful views over the golf links towards the sea.

Surrounding Area

The village of Dunfanaghy and the surrounding area is very popular with visitors who return each year to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonderful part of Donegal. The village is surrounded by glorious coastal and mountain scenery. Port-na-Blagh, a mile away, is also a family holiday centre and Marble Hill nearby, overlooks a safe long strand.

Golfview Cottage is centrally located on the North Donegal coastline. Mountain climbing and hill walking are popular in this spectacular landscape with Muckish, Errigal and the Derryveagh mountains all easily reachable.  There are also a number of beautiful forest walks in the region - including numerous walking trails in the wonderful Ards Forest Park.

The holiday home features an open plan and very spacious kitchen/dining room. The large fitted kitchen area features modern conveniences including electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and washing machine – plus all the cutlery, crockery and glassware you would require. The deep bay window in this bright room provides the setting for the dining table  - a wonderful setting with stunning views of Sheephaven Bay

  Living Room

The holiday home has a homely living room with an open fireplace and comfortable furniture suite. For home entertainment there is a tv and dvd player. Like all rooms to the front of the house the living room enjoys good sea views.
