Recently restored in a traditional style, Grace's Cottage is a
delightful traditional Irish farm cottage located in a very peaceful
rural setting near the village of
Malin
in
North Donegal.
The original building, which is over 100 years old, has been
sympathetically restored to the highest standard, retaining many
original features such as traditional style windows, half door
and rough stonewalls which have been painted to give the
original lime washed look
Fortunately, however, you do not have to sacrifice modern comforts as a
modern kitchen, bathroom, ensuite bedrooms and central heating have been
sympathetically added to the original cottage to create a top class self
catering cottage. The ensuite bedrooms are located in a new extension to
the cottage - the extension has been built to blend in with the
original building.
The cottage is located approximately halfway between the villages of
Malin and Culdaff. From its elevated site the holiday home enjoys superb
views over the North Inishowen Peninsula towards Trawbreaga Bay.
Due to its central
location in North Inishowen, Grace's cottage is within a short driving
distance of many beautiful sandy beaches. The spectacular Five Finger
Strand north of Malin Town and the wonderful
blue flag beach at Culdaff are less than 10 minutes drive away
A 15 minute drive from the holiday home will bring you to the fabulous
Ballyliffen Golf Club. The two golf links courses at Ballyliffin
have been described as the "Ballybunion of the North". Both
courses have large undulating greens, deep bunkers and fairways that are
as challenging as the nearby crashing Atlantic surf.
