18th century Irish thatched cottage set in a disused farm yard with
outhouses. It is restored using traditional materials and furnished with
period and antique furniture. Situated in north west Donegal between two hills near Mulroy Bay. It is
designed as a quiet place to relax. A getaway from the fast flow of
modern living.

Sleep under a traditional Irish thatched
roof, and experience its warm and relaxed atmosphere.
This restored traditional Irish thatched cottage and outhouses were
built over a 300 year period. Set in the hills of Donegal and surrounded
by trees. The cottage has been restored retaining it's original
features, but unlike the original it has modern heating, washing and
cooking facilities blended into its original design. It is furnished
with period and antique furniture.
In order to keep the cottage in good repair for future generations it is
rented as a self-catering holiday home. It is an ideal location for hill
walking, touring, pony trekking, fishing or just getting away from it
all. This area has some of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in
Ireland and of course many pubs with Irish music.
A quiet spot to relax.
