Horn Head

Horn Head is perhaps the most dramatic of Donegal's Peninsulas with a stunning scenic drive and numerous scenic walks.  The entire peninsula  has been designated as an Irish Natural Heritage Area and a Refuge for Fauna (specifically sea birds)

Dunfanaghy

The holiday home enjoys commanding views of Dunfanaghy village. This holiday village  and the surrounding area is very popular with visitors who return each year to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonderful part of Donegal. The village is surrounded by glorious coastal and mountain scenery. Port-na-Blagh, 3 miles away, is also a family holiday centre and nearby Marble Hill overlooks a safe long strand.

Dunfanaghy now has a well established Festival programme which runs throughout the year and includes a Seafood Festival, a Jazz and Blues Festival and a Halloween Madness Festival.

The holiday home is centrally located on the North Donegal coastline. Mountain climbing and hill walking are popular in this spectacular landscape with Muckish, Errigal and the Derryveagh mountains all easily reachable.  There are also a number of beautiful forest walks in the region - including numerous walking trails in the wonderful Ards Forest Park.

The well equipped kitchen and dining area features stylish fitted units with integrated appliances including dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer and electric oven and hob. The dining area has a dining table and 6 chairs. A washer / dryer machine is also available.

The beautifully decorated living room enjoys superb views on two sides - views that include Sheephaven Bay, the Rosguill Peninsula, Killahoey Beach and Muckish Mountain. The room has comfortable sofa seating for 6 people.

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro200 per week - with balance to be paid in cash on arrival plus a €60 security deposit
