Ballyliffin is located in north Inishowen and has one of the finest golf courses in the country. The village has three hotels, a shop and Post Office while a short walk takes you to the spectacular Pollan Strand with its powerful Atlantic waves.

Nearby attractions include the popular Doagh Island Visitor's Centre which tells of life during famine times in north Donegal. At Christmas time the centre becomes Santa's Island drawing large crowds to this area to experience the truly unique and magical show.
