Hollybank is a luxury holiday home located on an elevated half acre site above the charming village of Rathmullan. The bungalow is in a quiet and peaceful location, set amongst trees and has splendid views of Lough Swilly, Inch Island and the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside. It can accommodate up to 8 people in both comfort and style. There is a large lawn and a separate spacious garage - both of which are safe play areas for children. 

From the holiday home a 5 minute walk brings you down to the shores of Lough Swilly. A further 5 minutes walk will bring you into Rathmullan village with its superb sandy beach which stretches for over 2 miles. Along this tree lined beach are two of Donegal's finest hotels – the Fort Royal Hotel and the Rathmullan House Hotel. Both of these hotels have top class restaurants - the Cellar Bar in Rathmullan House does superb bar food. There are several fine restaurants in the locality in addition to lively and friendly pubs. Sea angling, water sports, hill walking and horse riding are popular local activities.

At the centre of Rathmullan is the pier which has a small marina attached. This is the location of the Rathmullan to Buncrana car ferry which runs during the summer months and links Rathmullan and Buncrana enabling easier access to the magnificent Inishowen Peninsula from the holiday home. 

A 20-minute car journey north to Portsalon provides some of the most magnificent scenery and blue flag beach. For the enthusiastic golfer, Portsalon Golf Club and Rosapenna are two of the finest Links Courses in Donegal. The ferry means that the renowned golf courses at Ballyliffin are now a 50 minute scenic journey from the doorstep of Hollybank. 

Rathmullan is also steeped in history – the local Heritage Centre is based on The Flight of the Earls. In 2007 the 400th anniversary of this famous event in Irish history will be celebrated with Rathmullan at the centre of the commemorations. 

The village of Rathmullan is centrally located in North West Donegal which means that the holiday home is ideally situated to discover this beautiful part of Ireland. The spectacular landscapes of the Fanad and Rosguil Peninsulas, the unspoilt Donegal Highlands, the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the ancient and historic walled City of Derry are all within an hour’s drive of the holiday home. Letterkenny is 20 minutes by car and provides good shopping, theatre, cinema and leisure complex.
