Visitors can relax indoors by the cosy open fire whilst the large outside garden space and deck with Atlantic views provides the perfect backdrop for family bbq's and friendly get togethers.

Local Attractions

In addition to nearby local attractions such as Dunlewy Lakeside Centre; Glenveagh National Park; Bloody Foreland or boat trips to Tory or Gola island, Radharc an Iarthuaisceart is ideally situated for daytrips along the famous Atlantic Drive on the North coast, or the highest marine cliffs in Europe (Slieve League) in South Donegal – all easily accessible within a half-day. If you simply wish to relax, sit back and enjoy the wonderful views from the comfort of your armchair, in front of a real turf fire, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity this lovely cottage has to offer.

Derrybeg

Derrybeg is located in the Gaeltacht of North West Donegal and is an ideal base for touring this beautiful region. The cottage is situated in the Gaeltacht area of Upper Glassagh, Derrybeg and is within walking distance of the local post office/shop, church, Bloody Foreland and Teac Jack’s Hotel which is famous for its food, craic, evening entertainment and family ceilidhs. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the delights that Donegal has to offer. It is close to the lively village of Bunbeg which offers a wide selection of restaurants and pubs. The nearby Ostan Gweedore Hotel contains an indoor pool, leisure centre and spa facilities, which are open to non-residents.

The area is famous for its miles of sandy beaches. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a range of activities including fishing, cycling and hill walking. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the courses at Gweedore, Cruit Island,
Cloughaneely and Dunfanaghy.

Evenings can be whiled away at one of the many traditional music sessions taking place in the local pubs. Amongst the area’s famous sons are Altan, Clannad and Enya. All in all Radharc an Iarthuaisceart Cottage provides a perfect base for an unforgettable Donegal holiday.

50% deposit (non-refundable) - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
