The local Golden Sands Equestrian Centre (5 min walk from Inis View) organises pony trekking sessions and holds week long courses for children in horse grooming and care. For the golf enthusiast, it's only a 15 minute drive to the magnificent 18 hole links course at Portsalon while Ireland's second oldest golf course, Otway (9 holes) is only a 5 minute drive away.
