This photo shows the conservatory
of Island Roy Cottage with its panoramic sea views over Mulroy
Bay.
Two causeways link the Island to the mainland, one to Carrickaholan Isle and the other from Carrickaholan to Island Roy. The causeways were built between the years of 1927 and 1929.
The cottages are situated close to Rosapenna, which offers the best in Irish Golf. The Rosguill
Peninsula offers breath taking beauty and majesty. With miles of long sandy beaches and clear unpolluted waters. There is plenty for everyone to do from golf to water sport, horse riding, cycling and hill walking.
