Johnstons Cottages - Arlands Strand (The protected Cove)

Arlands Strand is a large crescent shaped beach with sheltered cove and miles of beach walks (when sea is out) 

For the scuba enthusiast there are the steep walls of the rocky outcrops which hold a variety of fish and sea creatures. This is especially interesting and safe for those children who want to explore or snorkel or scuba. They can be supervised from the rocks above the relatively shallow water.

For the fisherman there is deep sea angling from Burtonport, 10 minutes drive away or freshwater fishing in lake Wasker, 100 metres from the cottage.
