L'Abri Cottage Termon, Kilmacrennan: New build two bedroom cottage situated 8 minutes from Glenveagh National Park.  Located in a quiet rural area with beautiful views and a tranquillity that can only leave one feeling relaxed and refreshed. Ards Forest Park and Beach is ten minute drive with lots to explore and enjoy.  The town of Letterkenny which is notable for its good shopping, theatre, arts centre, restaurants/bars and cinema are all within a ten minute drive. Albeit we are in the country, one can never be bored.  Your hosts will gladly present you with an itinerary for your duration giving advice on places to go and things to see and do. L'Abri Cottage exudes a warm welcome from the moment one steps over the threshold.  It has all the features of a country cottage and is wholly ideal for five adults or family with children.  The holiday home is set in the heart of the Donegal countryside  and yet  is close to a host of amenities. It is the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

The ground floor of the cottage is open plan with kitchen, dining and sitting room areas. There are patio doors from the sitting room area opening onto a large decking area which hosts bench, table & chairs.  This overlooks the owners vegetable garden and has all day sun. The large window from the kitchen looks out onto the surrounding mountains and countryside and the owners large garden which has a fish pond and many beautiful shrubs and flowers which are pleasing to the eye.  It is indeed a sight to behold.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and room for a cot if necessary. The second bedroom has one double and one single bed with ample space to accommodate three persons. This cottage has been built by the current owners for comfort and a totally unwinding experience. 

There is countryside galore around the cottage and yet it's only a two minute drive to the local convenience shop, bar and restaurant and the local Catholic Church.  The larger village of Kilmacrennan is 5 minute drive and town of Letterkenny approximately 10 minute drive.  Glenveagh National Park, Lough Gartan and Glebe Gallery are all within a 10 minute drive.  To be based in the country this cottage is set “bang smack” in the middle within easy access to many amenities and places of interest.  One could never be “bored”.

•Visit Gartan Outdoor Pursuits Centre: Situated on the shores of Loch Gartan this is a very popular destination for adventure holiday enthusiasts
•Enjoy beautiful unspoilt beaches on the nearby coast - Ards, Marble Hill, Tramore
•Go fly fishing on the  River Lennon
•Go deep sea fishing or sight seeing at Downings
•Visit the enchanting Ards Forest Park
•Climb Muckish and Errigal.
•Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs.
