Lakeside Cottage is situated near the
northern coastline of the Fanad Peninsula and overlooks the beautiful
Kindrum Lake.
This
luxury modern cottage offers modern creature
comforts you’d expect to find in your own home – power showers, central
heating and huge open fire! The cottage provides its own pontoon for
non-motorised water based activities.
The Fanad peninsula stretches north from the
village of Milford via Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the
quaint Georgian village of Ramelton via Portsalon and
Rathmullan. It has some of the most remarkable cliff scenery in
Ireland. The peninsula has numerous bays, glorious beaches, rolling
hills and numerous small lakes
Lakeside Cottage is perfectly located to discover the delights of
Portsalon, Atlantic Drive, Sheephaven Bay, Downings and Rathmullan. A
2 minute drive will take you to the local beach, a popular spot for
surfers and sea kayakers, for the less adventurous it offers a bracing
stroll and views on to the wild Atlantic rollers. For amazing views and
a true taste of Donegal take the breath-taking drive to Fanad
Lighthouse. Ards Forest Park and Glenveagh National Park are easily
accessible by car and offer varied walks for all levels of fitness.
Pony trekking and scuba diving are also available nearby.
