Lakeview Lodge Holiday Home - kitchen

Two views of the kitchen and dining area.
The top picture shows the fitted kitchen area, which includes an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, kettle. toaster, and essential crockery, cutlery and cookware. A separate utility room has the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also an iron and ironing board and an outside clothes line. A dining table with four chairs is visible in the foreground.

The bottom picture shows the original old stone fireplace, which must have served as the main cooking area, and probably had a spit for roasting the game. It now occupies a more "modern" stove, which is used for heating, and forms a centre around which one can sit over a hot chocolate and friendly chat.
Note the original flagstone floors.
