Lochnamanfin is a luxury holiday home  located in beautiful unspoilt countryside  outside the town of Ardara in South West Donegal.  The house is located on an elevated site and overlooks a small loch and the Bluestack mountains. The loch - Lochmanfin - has a plentiful supply of trout  and is literally a stone's throw from the front door of the holiday home.

The house is finished to a very high standard throughout. With 4 very spacious bedrooms Lochnamanfin is ideal for an extended family or two families sharing. It is also an ideal for a group of golfers or fishermen who prefer a more relaxing getaway.

The town of Ardara is less than a 10 minute drive away. This bustling town situated in the south west corner of County Donegal. The environs of the town is an area rich in history, culture, bounded by stunning landscapes and has an abundance of activities for the holidaymaker. Ardara is a traditional centre for weaving and knitwear production. Its historical importance has been recognised in the granting of Heritage status to the town.  The visitor will find a number of excellent restaurants in the locality as well as friendly pubs – several of which feature traditional music sessions.

Ardara hosts numerous festivals and other organised events throughout the year catering for almost every taste. These include a Bluegrass Festival, the Ardara Agricluture Show, the Cup O’Tae Festival, the Donegal Harvest Rally, an International Walking Festival  - and weekends for traditional dancing and match-making.

Activities in the wider locality surrounding the holiday home include an equestrian centre at  Bruckless featuring both indoor and outdoor arenas. For the marine enthusiast there is sea angling charters (including tuna charters), scuba diving, and marine sightseeing tours – these are based in Killybegs, Teelin and Donegal Town.

For the golfer the holiday home is centrally situated for playing the great links courses of south Donegal including the Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh, Narin & Portnoo and Bundoran. Those who simply want to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of Ireland will be spoilt for choice -  from the windswept St. John’s peninsula  to the spectacular sea cliffs at Slieve League and from the majestic Blue Stack Mountains to the beautiful beaches at Narin , Fintra and Rossnowlagh.

This beautiful part of Ireland is  also an ideal base for hill al walking.  The Bluestack Mountains surround the holiday home and features The Bluestack Way -- Ireland's newest Waymarked Walk.
