Surrounded by lakes and hills this peaceful setting is the ideal haven to enjoy the tranquillity of this scenic area. Situated on the doorstep of one the Blue Stack trails the cottage interior has been tastefully decorated in a traditional style, while still including all modern amenities.
The cottage has a cosy atmosphere which is idyllic for a relaxing break for all types of individuals any time of the year.

Glenties is a small thriving town which has a nightclub, a family run hotel and many pubs, shops and cafes. Towards the North West of Glenties, are bays, beaches and beautiful coastal scenery. 5km away is Nairn beach which is long and golden and is a definite must for beach lovers and surfers. Glenties lies close to the Blue Stack Mountains and is surrounded by two rivers which are prominent for fishing. Within the glens of Glenties are an abundance of scenic walks, and forest trails which can be accessed by foot, horse, and bicycle.

Ardara town, which is a 10 minute drive, includes a heritage centre and a hand-woven tweed factory. Ardara hosts multitudes of festivals throughout the year including the superb Ardara walking festival. For more information visit ardara.ie
