Maiden Rock Apartment - Redcastle

Maiden Rock Apartment is located on an elevated site with private parking overlooking Lough Foyle. It is adjacent to The Carlton Redcastle Hotel with its golf course and indoor leisure centre and is within easy driving distance of Moville, Greencastle and the Historic Walled City of Derry. Next door to the apartment you'll find Maiden Heaven - where Tanya and Karen run a unique business offering individual treatments to help unwind, relax and self-heal mind, body and soul.

Laneway to Lough Foyle

A country laneway leads down from the apartment to the shores of Lough Foyle and a small fishing pier. Here you can gaze across at Binevenagh Mountain and watch the ships move up and down on their way to Lisahally port just outside Derry. A short walk along the shoreline takes you to the golf course which surrounds the Carlton Redcastle Hotel.

Redcastle

Redcastle is located along the eastern shores of Lough Foyle approximately 12 miles from the Historic Walled City of Derry. To the north are the seaside villages of Moville and Greencastle and across the lough one has views of Magilligan Point and Benevinagh Mountain. The Carlton Redcastle Hotel is set among mature woodland and has its own health spa and 9-hole parkland golf course. Adjacent to the hotel there is a large indoor kids playground featuring an interactive play system, dodgems, ball pool, F1 cars etc

Moville

One of Donegal's heritage towns, Moville takes it's name from the Irish Maghbile, which means "Plain of the Ancient Tree" and refers to the site of an ancient monastery. A few miles to the north lies the fishing port of Greencastle where you can catch a car ferry across the Foyle to Magilligan - and onwards to the many beautiful sites of the Northern Irish coastline. A visit to the Giant's Causeway and The Dunluce Centre is highly recommended.
