From the front door, it is a 6-minute walk to both the Shandon Hotel and the beautiful Marble Hill Blue Flag beach

This holiday home has everything a holiday maker could wish for.  Superb sea views can be enjoyed from the open plan ground floor and from the first-floor gallery. The house is fitted out to an exceptionally high standard with all modern conveniences. It has an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and utility room together with a sheltered decking for alfresco dining. 

Superb Beaches

In addition to Marble Hill Strand, there are numerous fine beaches within a short drive of the holiday home including Portnablagh, Killahoey (in Dunfanaghy) and several beaches at nearby Ards Forest Park and Ards Friary. Watersports are popular in this area especially windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, and surfing. The superb Tramore Strand just north of Dunfanaghy is ideal for bracing walks

Marble Hill, Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy Region

The Marble Hill, Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy region has seen the number of tourist amenities expand each year over the last decade. There is now a wide choice of cafe, restaurants, art galleries and craft shops as well as a lively pub scene in Dunfanaghy. 

Recent additions in Mable Hill include "The Shack" artisan coffee shop at Marble Hill beach and the reopening of the Shandon Hotel with its superb Spa.

 In nearby Portnablagh you will find the multi-award winning Cove Restaurant, one of the best restaurants in the country.

You will also find the atmospheric Buttermilk Art Cafe where you can enjoy a great lunch and a glass of wine. The Mill Restaurant overlooks New Lake just outside Dunfanaghy. 

The holiday home is also a great base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North West Donegal. The keen walker will be spoilt for choice with walks on the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula, in Ards Forest Park and on Donegals highest mountains which are within easy driving distance
