This recently refurbished cottage still maintains the cottage feel even though it has all the modern amenities. The sun room is cosy and has great views, a barbeque on the decking in the summer nights is beautiful especially as you can enjoy a game of pool or darts in the outhouse (fully converted). It is very safe for kids, as the grounds are enclosed by hedges/fences and gates. The best thing about the house is the fact that there is so much to do both in the house and in the surrounding area.

The house is in a perfect position for whatever holiday experience you seek. It’s remote enough to be a “get away form it all” holiday with only 5 houses on the 1 mile road yet it’s still handy for all the shops/nightlife of Letterkenny, the summer holiday haven of Kerrykeel or the feel of a local pub in McBrides at the top of the road. Add to that the Portsalon beach (breathtaking and only 3 miles away) and the golf course which actually runs along the beach. Fell free to ramble across the fields and savour the peace and quiet of this lovely area.

We have the outhouse set up as a play room with a full sized pool table and dart board to keep the kids entertained while you relax in the sunroom with the newspaper. It’s also great for the adults to go and have fun in too! There is a self inflatable bed which can be used if you have unexpected guests for the night.

Nearby: The ruins of the MacSweeney (Moross) Castle are at the bottom of the lane (200-300 metres) which is nice for a short walk.
