Mountain Lodge - Killybegs

Mountain Lodge  is situated in a peaceful rural location and offers wonderful views of the unspoilt countryside in South West Donegal. It is situated halfway betwween the heritage town of Ardara ant the bustling seaside town of Killybegs.It is an ideal base to tour the magnificent scenery of South West Donegal. The cottage is also within an hours drive of Sligo, Enniskillen, Letterkenny and Glenveigh National Park.

This newly built holiday home is tastefully furnished and decorated throughout. Accommodation consists of 5 comfortable double bedrooms  - 3 of which are ensuite. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen, dining room with adjacent sun room and a cosy living room.

Local Activities

Activities in the wider locality surrounding the holiday home include an equestrian centre in Bruckless featuring both indoor and outdoor arenas. For the marine enthusiast there is sea angling charters (including tuna charters), scuba diving, and marine sightseeing tours – these are based in nearby Killybegs, Teelin and Donegal Town.

For the golfer the holiday home is centrally situated for playing two of the  great links courses of south Donegal - the Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh and Narin & Portnoo.  Those who simply want to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of Ireland will be spoilt for choice - from the windswept St. John’s peninsula to the spectacular sea cliffs at Slieve League and from the majestic Blue Stack Mountains to the beautiful beaches at  Fintra, Narin  and Rossnowlagh. Lovers of good food will not be disappointed either - there are a number of excellent restaurants throughout the locality including the award winning Castle Murray House Hotel in nearby Dunkineely.

The cosy living room is located to the front of the house and enjoys lovely countyside views. It is comfortably furnished and has a solid fuel stove. For home entertainment there is a tv and dvd player.

The fitted kitchen features modern conveniences including electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. An adjacent utility has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

  Dining Room

The tastefully furnished dining room has a stylish table and 6 chairs.

  Sun Room

The dining area leads into a sun room area which is furnished with 2 armchairs and a 2 seater sofa. The sun room enjoys lovely countryside views.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period
