Malin is one of the most northerly villages in Ireland and has in the recent past been the recipient of the coveted accolade of "Ireland's Tidiest Town" not once, but twice! The village is laid out along each side of a triangular shaped green area, beautifully decorated by flower beds and bordered by trees. As you approach the village from the south you cross over a unique ten-arched stone bridge believed to be the only one of its kind in the country.

In the village itself there is a range of shops and pubs and the highly acclaimed Malin Hotel, one of the finest family hotels in County Donegal - be sure to stop there for some fresh local cooking or a pint of Guinness with the friendly locals. On warm summer evenings you can relax on one of the seats on the village green and savour the wonderful tranquillity of this peaceful Irish village.
