**Superb Value** Situated in The  Rosses, within one of the most pure, natural and  unspoilt places in the country, this is a 2 story renovated 200 year old cottage full of character located on acres of private land.  With a sleeping capacity of 7 this house is ideal for families, a group of friends, or indeed a couple or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.  With views overlooking the glistening waters of Mullaghderg Lake, the vibrant hues of the green countryside, and beyond, the Atlantic Ocean, this holiday home in prefect for those craving a release from the velocity of everyday life.

Mullaghderg Lough

Private yet in no way isolated, the property is screened to the rear by giant conifers.  Mullaghderg Lough is ideal for a variety of water sports and activities such as swimming, sailing and canoeing.  Fly fishermen will be delighted with the prospect of whiling away a few hours on their doorstep, while a second virtually untapped lake also situated within these private lands has been described by an experienced fly fisherman as “his dream come true.”   There is also a tree house and plenty of space for younger people to have fantastic adventures.   Walkers who visit will be spoilt for choice.

An Ideal Touring Base

This property has the luxury of many great attractions and facilities close by.  Mullaghderg Strand and Carrickfinn beaches are less than 10 minutes drive from the house.  The nearest shop and pub are in Kincasslagh village 5 minutes drive.  Annagry and Dungloe are approximately 15 minutes drive.

Cruit Island Golf Club in also nearby.  Glenveagh National Park and castle is perfect for a day out and about 40 min away by car or you can take a ferry from Burtonport over to Árainn Mhór Island for the day or head to Gweedore  and don’t forget to climb Errigle again only 20 – 25 minutes drive! Letterkenny is an hour’s drive away as is Donegal town.

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of euro100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.
