This luxury holiday home is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Kerrykeel.  The cabin is part of a modern holiday home development and features well maintained grounds and safe driveways. From the front door of the cabin it is a mere 100 metres walk down to the shores of Mulroy Bay. A 5 minute walk brings into the centre of Kerrykeel itself. This lovely village has a number of fine pubs and restaurants.

Panoramic Views

The holiday home itself is designed to take full advantage of its wonderful location - The large open plan living area to the front of the house  enjoys wonderful uninterrupted views of Mulroy Bay. A large balcony that stretches along the length of the house is the perfect place to enjoy a summer barbeque.

The Fanad Peninsula

The village of Kerrykeel itself is centrally situated on the Fanad Peninsula. This beautiful peninsula stretches north from the village of Milford via Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the quaint Georgian village of Ramelton via Portsalon and Rathmullan. It has some of the most remarkable cliff scenery in Ireland. The peninsula has numerous bays, glorious beaches,  rolling hills and numerous small lakes. On the eastern shores of the peninsula the renowned Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough Swilly and the Inishowen hills.

Wonderful Golf Course and Beach at nearby Portsalon

A 10 minute drive from the holiday cabin will bring you to the seaside village of Portsalon where you will find a wonderful blue flag beach and a top class golf course. Portsalon Golf Club has been extensively redesigned in the last few years and is now one of the finest links courses in the North West of Ireland.

  • Golf on nearby Portsalon Golf Club – a classic 18 hole links course.

  • Go deep sea fishing or sight seeing on Lough Swilly (Two modern charter boats are based in Rathmullan)
  • Climb Muckish and Errigal. Mount Errigal, the highest mountain in Donegal is a demanding climb and once on the summit you can see for miles around.
  • Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
  • Enjoy diving in the clear waters of  Mulroy and Sheephaven Bay
  • Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk

The fully fitted kitchen comes with a complete range of modern appliances including dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven and fridge freezer. It also features a kitchen table and 6 chairs. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room.

The large windows and patio doors in the open plan area give a wonderful sense of openness, light and space. They also provide uninterrupted views down to the shores of Mulroy Bay.  The living area is comfortably furnished and features an electric fireplace. For home entertainment there is a TV ,Video and DVD Player. The patio doors lead out to a  balcony that stretches the length of the cabin front.
