mountains, this beautiful 5 bedroom house is an ideal base for your
holiday in this stunning part of Ireland. Adults and children will be
equally at home here. The house has plenty of space but retains a warm,
homely feeling.
Dunfanaghy village is only 4 to 5 minutes
drive or a pleasant 20 to 30 minute walk. The village provides all the
amenities required for your stay including a grocery shop, speciality
shops, petrol station, hotel, restaurants, bars, and arts/crafts
outlets. Water-sports, fishing and hill-walking for all abilities are
easily arranged and golfers will enjoy the beautiful coastal setting of
the local 18 holes. The local beach is blue-flag, white sand and
suitable for children.
Ocean Hill looks out at the Atlantic Ocean
with Tory Island clearly visible.
Other angles from inside and outside of the house provide views of the
ocean, the surrounding country-side, New Lake, hills and mountains
(including Muckish). From upstairs you’ll be able to see all the way to
Mt. Errigal. *No light pollution here so stars are mind-blowing!*
All surrounding attractions such as the
spectacular Glenveagh National Park, make great day trips from Ocean
Hill.
Nearest Village: Dunfanaghy c.1 mile (4
minutes drive, pleasant 25 minutes walk). Great pubs, hotel restaurant,
cafes, groceries, petrol station, shopping.
Beach: Killyhoey (Dunfanaghy): c. 1 mile
Golf Course: Dunfanaghy (18 holes) – c. 1 mile
Distance details: Easy striking distance of at least 6 beautiful,
unspoiled, white sand beaches; lots of great hill-walking, water sports

week booked or 100 euros deposit for weekend bookings.
Balance payable 6 weeks in advance/for later bookings balance to be paid
before rental begins or on arrival when we give you the keys.
