Peggys - Culdaff

Peggys is a 3 bedroom holiday home located in peaceful countryside just 4km from the popular beach resort of Culdaff on the Inishowen Peninsula. The holiday home is a modernised farm cottage and enjoys lovely countryside views.

Culdaff Blue Flag Beach

The village of Culdaff has a fabulous Blue Flag sandy beach, which is about 1km in length, and lies between Dunmore Head to the east and the little fishing harbour known as Bunagee Pier on its western side. The beach car park has a well equipped and safe children's play area next to it. Fishing charters operate from Bunagee Pier.

On the Inishowen Peninsula around the cottage there are many activities suited to those enjoying the outdoors including hill walking, cycling, pony trekking, sailing, fishing and surfing. Golf enthusiasts are very well catered for in this most northern part of Ireland, with the famous Ballyliffin Golf Course about a 20 minutes drive away. There is also a fine 18 hole at Greencastle.

In the summer months a car operates from Greencastle across Lough Foyle to Magilligan Point in Co Derry allowing you to easily explore the beautiful north coast of Northern Ireland.  The historic Walled City of Derry is a great day trip and is just 30km away.

What they say

I travel a lot so I'm always looking for interesting places to stay - anything to avoid another carbon copy hotel - and this has got to be one of the best local travel sites I've seen. Plenty of detail, tons of photos, excellent location info and clear pricing - everything I need to make an informed call. Great job and I'll be recommending the site to anyone else I know who's travelling in Donegal.
